CHESS 960 ROCKS!

im playing 3 games now and looking forward to more!  Fischer may have been on to something here!  the top ranked chess players need to really think about trying to organize a formal tournament system to explore this wonderful chess variation.  its pure chess understanding, the basic rules of thumb positional feel and tactics are all you got to work with.  no opening theory, no midgame theory (oh i saw this position in shabalov vs nakamura us championships 2007 where nakamura played qh5 here and lost so i should follow wolfe vs benjamin hawiian open 1999 line where wolfe tried nf3 i think i can improve around move 35)...endgame theory applies i guess...but overall this game seems to test the raw understanding of how you use your pieces and control the board.

Bro I know what ya mean about inane topics!!  There was dude who had on a Barbara Streisand thread where the topic was that she had a thing for Bobby Ficsher.  If you think that's bad, there was actually a guy on there that posted that he wanted to date her.  Weird people here man, just weird!!

I am not struck to the 960.

I like it too, but this one is fun....

There are loads of games that relate to chess, Xiangqi, Shogi, dice chess, and gothic chess.

They don't have them here yet...

Because this is a westernised chess site.
