At the end of a 960 game, if one clicks "request rematch", and the rematch is accepted, does the new game begin with the initial position from the *game just ended*?

I'm now playing the 4th straight  960 game from the same starting position with one opponent, and I think it must not a coincidence that each game has begun from the same initial position.

Yes, in rematches the starting position is the same.

Would be nice to have an option to play a rematch with a new board set up, rather than having to come out and start a new game.
