What exactly did cheater_1 do till his account got closed?

how did he cheat?

or did he just show off a little?

or is Erik just angry with his username and suspects something fishy?

The man lied outright that he had been forced to resign a game that he lost fair and square. Erik said to recant, Cheater_1 defied.

Funny, I just read my first cheater_1 posting a couple days ago(why an american will never again be a world champion)...and got very curious as to what this character was all about because of some of the responses to his blogs.  I was going to probably spend several hours reading through everything in the future when I could be playing some chess.  Thanks to Erik I won't have to waste my time!

I have heard that cheater_1 had been pushing Erik's buttons even before that, so he was in dangerous waters already.

That was still no reason to force him to delete his account. If cheater_1 told the truth, which I believe he did, erik sent him harassing emails denying him a pre-negotiated vacation. Even if that is untrue, it does not matter if one is to make excuses for a loss. It is immature and unprofessional to ban someone because of that.

In your opinion.

IMO, Erik must have had his reasons and I would back him over anyone called cheater_1.

It amazes me that there are so many topics about him tbh.

he didn't seem that interesting to me tbh, but i am kind of new to this site so I haven't seen much of what he did in the past.

Then ask Erik.

The guy was nothing but a troll.

Best joke I've heard today:

"If cheater_1 told the truth, which I believe he did"

actually what is really bad about the account cancellation is the loss of the forums topics that while provacative were interesting in both the postings and the responses. cheater_1 is a character who added some spice to the site. to all of those people who are animated that it is good that a cheater is gone, do you really think the true cheaters name themselves cheater? maybe in your neighborhood, but not in mine. the real cheaters call themselves mr and mrs honest and holier than thou and whatever other righteous obfuscation that can be created.

maybe cheater_1 called himself that for a joke or something.

you are right amac7079,cheaters wont admit they are cheaters like that by making it so obvious.
