    right. that widget won't auto-update. you'll need to update your own rating for it. why? because some blogs/pages don't allow javascript :(

    The page is on my own domainadress and it does support javascript. The examples on this site are also just saying rating 1199,  just wondering if there is a widget version with the auto-updating  javascript like on page: http://www.chess.com/livechess/myhome.html .

    if you can install the blogger widget, that would auto-update.

    Ok i did install the widget on blogger: http://graphitochess.blogspot.com/ but it doesnt update just says 1199. Here is the code for the widget on blogger:

    <div id="chess_stats_badge_wrapper">
            <script type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn-cssjs.chesscomfiles.com/js/chessfen/ChessFen.js"></script>
            <script src="http://www.chess.com/widgets/blogger_widget.php?user_id=1607284"></script>
            <br clear="all"/>
          </div>

    If you check the second code wich is the source where blogger gets the code it doesnt updat also. To find out how it does work is difficult for me to check because if i view the source code I see the html code no function code. I think the document.write('Rating etc is not working.

     I look at your rating.. i see..

    hmm.. lets see...

    Dont offend other people unless you check your rating yourself.

    haha its the turned base rating that was all i need to know, sorry about the arguing but it would be nice to have a rating for standard games in the widget. I thought the widget was defect. Cool

    Im playing like 20 games each day on chess, mostly standard or blits. I played like 2 times the turned base one. So it was a misunderstanding, happens. Im that stupid cause i couldnt explain it the right way, pretty difficult for me to discus about subject like this in english because im dutch. But now you guys understand me, so wouldnt it be nice to have a widget with standard rating updated?

    cheers! Smile

    You dont need to apoligize just some confusion.

    But anyway :) is there a possible way to get the updated standard rating script in to the widget? that would be very nice...otherwise maybe an idea for the future. I noticed the programmers are prety busy with chess.com they did a lot of nice upgrades lately so i can understand they havent time for the widgets right now.

    perhaps we can do a LIVE rating widget in the future. glad it makes sense now!

    I strongly support for a live rating widget using javascript. Although there is a javascript widget for Blogger, it did not show me how to install it in other blog environment that supports javascript.
