I don't know how many people use the Google Toolbar, but I do and I've found a way to add a Chess.com button to it that will bring you to your Chess.com home page. There may be an easier way, but here's what I did:

  1. If your Google Toolbar is logged in, click "My home" in the upper right of the Chess.com page.
  2. Click once on your "status" line (as if you're going to change it). This will change the text to a text box.
  3. Right click and select "Generate custom search" from the pop-up menu.
  4. Click "Add" and you're done!

Well, c'mon, that's got to be worth a free T-shirt right there!

I actually more or less stumbled on this solution after finding out that you guys didn't already have a custom button. I'm not sure what makes some text-input boxes work and some don't (the general "search" at the top of the page doesn't, but the "Search the Forum" field does), but if you could figure this out, people would be able to create Google Toolbar buttons for whatever pages they want.
