This is my first alert since March or April, before I use to get them on a dayly basis then nothing until now, is it normal?

Nope, my computer blew again last week while I was on line, got that fixed yesterday.
But I've noticed that I stoped recieving alerts for a very long time indeed, like your turn to move, comments, you've been challanged....etc.
It don't really matter, I was just being curious also if I was logged in non stop my time per move would be sky high, which is not the case, thanks anway!

Just find images that you like on the web copy & paste them where ever you want! If you need a hand sed me a message!
My alerts have been playing up lately too. They disappear for no reason, then If I make a move in a game they sometimes come back again, sometimes not. Doesn't really bother me but it is curious.
alerts will disappear if you go to the game then navigate away from the page without making a move. that may have been the case in some instances.
for me, alerts only come on certain pages and sometimes they do not appear, but it's not really an issue i find.
In my case, since a few days ago, some old alerts appear again, but normally it disspears when I refresh the page.
I just started playing on line games. I only have two current games
and receive about five alerts a day at my email address. They are
the generic "new comment" notice (as above) but are really "your move"
notices.
I used to be a lert...not any more!
Now I am a Loof
I get lots. Ever since a month ago I have never not recieved a message on chess.com. And I always have a comment to read.
