I love the Analysis board.  I use it daily during my online games.  I wish there was an empty

Analysis board available for use somewhere else on the site.  Maybe under \LEARN.  This would allow players to test positions, openings, maybe even load old pgn files.

The Analysis board already exists so its not like any coding to add this functionality would need to be done.  It seems like all chess.com would need to do is add the Analysis board to a part of the site for other use.  I work in IT, things are never that easy... Money mouth

Anyway, I love chess.com.  I hope they will consider adding this functionality.  If the Analysis board exists somewhere else on the site for me to use and I was just not aware of it, please let me know!

Have a look at the 'Resources' you might find something to download so you use separately as a analysis board.

The idea is not to have a separate program, we all have plenty but rather something that functions within the site.  I'm still waiting for a PGN viewer but an analysis board not tied to a game might be a nice start.

Any chance it will be integrated with game boards throughout the forums?  I.e., available for free-form use as described in this request, but also hyperlinked to from each game board in a forum post so that it is spawned with the current position on the board?

Hi, Erik.  I know there are lots of us who are waiting with bated breath for the "floating Analysis Board" feature.  Any update on an ETA?  Thanks, and keep up the good work here at chess.com!
