I can't seem to get the conditional move button.  Is it not backported to pre-existing games?

My guess would be that the FAQ was written before the freature was implemented. This is common practice in companies/websites that have a clear direction. It's easier to write up instructions/manuals/FAQs ahead of time. Then if the implmemtation changes the details can be updated to reflect those changes, rather than to write all that stuff after the fact while fielding several questions about it's use.
