I'm aware of the costs of hosting a site as big and complex as Chess.com , but it seems to me that 3 tactical problems per day is too little... Frown

Then, as I plan to do at the end of the month and as many others have to date, bite the bullet and pay up for unlimited.

hilarious, you are aware of the costs, it's not important enough to you to pay relatively little per day to have unlimited but you think Erik should pay for it instead? Surprised

I think the commercials at the starting page saying "It's free and easy" makes some people feel cheated.

fair comment but it says Play Chess it's free,  Learn Chess it's easy,  in two separate boxes.  You could probably say learning chess is not that easy sometimes Smile

Three puzzles a day is not considered too few, since there are other things on here that free. Tactical Trainer is just a plus, not a must.

I was willing to pay for unlimited tactics trainer puzzles, and I'm also eagerly awaiting the openings explorer which I'll also have unlimited access to!

guys who cares about teh technicality of whetehr it says free and easy, the fact is taht three puzzles a day are free and i think its ungrateful to complain. This site offers a tremendous ammoutnu to cheapskates liek myself so its only fair that those willing to part with there hard earned cashed to support this great site are rewarded with mkore attractive features. I say three puzzles is very generous and thankyou for not makinf the feature exclusive to paying members and I hope lots of people do pay for a premium mmebrship to keep this great site running. I have only been here a few days but have really taken a shine to this site and believe I will stay here till I am chess grandmaster and will promote the site for FREE Laughing
