For me playing a good Defense is the key in winning chess.. "Restrain, Blockade and destroy"
but others say Why defense if you can attack.. For you witch is good attack or defense??
Defense, No doubt about it
you can't isolate one from another because both are two side of the same coin..for every attack there is counterattack and for every defense assume there is countertime(feint in m.arts)
Defense is the great form of offense.
a sword or a shield?
I chose a shield..
They say attack is the best defence.
So does that mean that defense is the best attack?
I prefer with "Defense is the great offense(attack)."
I prefer to be the attacker, defending is more difficult for me.
But both ways (attack/defend & counter) are 'correct' ways of playing. Tal and Petrosian could be the best examples of a fierce attacker and a rock-solid defender, and both became World Champions.
