benefit of live chess

    although I'm certainly not a very good live chess player, i have found it quite beneficial to my overall chess ability.  for example, when I play a correspondence game which allows a couple of days to consider a move, the experiences I gained in the live chess contests pays off.  what it comes down to is that experience counts.
