I see from your game history that your average opponent rating is only 1536. Start playing stronger opponents more consistantly and your rating will start to go down. I myself was clearing 1800 at first, but since I always play the strongest matchup I can find, my rating went down into the 1700's. The key factor as I said is the average opponent rating. I always chuckle a little when I see someone with a 1900 or 2000 rating and their average opponent rating is 1300. It's blatant stat padding.

ilikeflags's average opponent rating is even lower than yours at 1400 range by comparison. My average opponent rating is 1767 and yet I still clear 1700 personal blitz rating. That's how to get a more realistic look at blitz strength.

my opponent's average rating is very low.  until 2 weeks ago i had been a 1400/1500 bullet player for 2 years.  then poof!  (and i mean poof) i'm in the 1800s.  untill 2 weeks ago i oculdn't get games with 1700 or 1800s.

plus i've played more than 4 times the number of games that you've played so my "average" is a lot broader.

Whoops! I stand corrected. ilikeflag's blitz rating is 1454. I mistakenly looked at his bullet rating and assumed it to be blitz rating. My apologies.

Maybe chess.com upped their advertising for live chess -- with a huge influx of beginners ratings will become inflated.
