The block member system blocks abuse such as hijacking a thread.

someone should start a thread devoted completely to the block system!  or, i'd love to see a thread where chess.com members can talk about the block system!  we need an honest place where we can come in, sit down, and talk the block system.  someone should get on that!

Usually one would provide examples, perhaps expand a little on the implications, maybe go back and forth and weigh the positive and negative aspects of such actions, rather than leaving a redundant wet turd of a statement lying in the middle of the floor.  But of course, the choice is yours.
