There are different ways for posting on this site. When you have something to say: you can post a blog, write an article, or use the forum. I want to hear people's opinion on when to use each of those? Maybe the forum is a bit distinct, but it is harder to distinguish between what fits more as a blog post or as an article. Technically, are there any differences or things that I can include in a blog, which I cannot include in an article or vice versa?
Great question!!
A forum is for quick topics and questions. It is meant to be a discussion.
A blog post is your free space to talk about whatever you want. It could be your own game. It could be your experience at a chess tournament. It could be your own plan of how to improve. It could be what you are wearing today :) It is your space!
An article is something that should be helpful to someone who reads it. You can tell by the categories what it should be about. But it should be informational or educational for the reader.
News is a report on an event or chess politics or something that is currently happening. Again, the categories should help you understand.
Any other questions? :)
