I make bugs out of fur, feathers, and thread. Fish fall for these fakes.

I know it's been an occasional problem for some players, but is there any way to fix it? During play, when I move my pieces, they sometimes lock or move jerkily, eating into my time. Since I usually play a five minute game, I'm playing at a constant disadvantage. I've tried different browsers, unchecking the hardware acceleration feature in Chrome, etc., etc.

Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks for your help.

BrentAllen: if this is a problem that occurs infrequently, maybe it is tied to your computer's antivirus software updating?  Just a thought.

I found your problem!!!  (or so I think... cause it suddenly happened to me!)

I have a wireless Internet connection and I suspect that you do too, cause what I discovered is that if you have over 20 spyware programs running in the background they are all competing for the wireless connection at once! This will drop your connection speed here from 150 kps to 13 kbs. It will cause you REALLY SLOW connection and you will see the problem by 'jerky movement' among other symptons.

I solved my problem by downloading and running the Anti-Spyware program. Go to www.superantispyware.com to D/L the FREE version. Do not d/l this program from any other vendor.

    Cheers,

    Don

I smoked too many cigars when I was bait fishing.
