Bugs On Chess.com

I don't cause trouble, and I've been around for a long time. I'm not being rude being blunt, I just would like to get rid of these messages.

I do not need reminding I don't pay, it is rather obvious when I look around the site. I have paid in the past and figured out it was a waste of money as I didn't use most of the features.

    Thank you for your concern.

Looking at the bile in the threads today, it should be buggers on Chess.com.

I agree. but I didn't know itinerante was using his iphone. I found this same problem and answered it months ago from an iphone user. STILL, I might be able to help all iphone users who experience this problem:

Go into your settings here and TURN OFF the selection for 'Premoves'. This helped the last person who experienced this problem.

Please let us know if this helps, itinerante.

Your a true Red Sox fan.   You have 500+ messages, and NOW you want to delete some??    Its the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs, your down 15-1, and NOW you want to get in the game ??

Thanks Arrakis09 for your kind help. Actually, I disabled the option "Watch automatically top game at start" and this seems to work as yesterday I was systematically brought to the "top game" about which I don't care at all. Disabling premoves is a good option anyway, sometimes they activate accidentally and make you lose!

Is there a reason Game Explorer only shows a portion of my games? It says I've only played 1.e4 12 times. I've played it more than that today alone... Anyone else have this issue?

hi. when playing with fad2191, he/she hacked me twice and this way he won the game. 1st: it is not fair play. 2nd: can you help me not to be hacked agin?

NeWid2014, there isn't really a way to hack another member.  When people feel they've been "hacked," often times what happened is they had a bad connection.

Can you provide more information so we can tell if this is something different?

I think the problem is a virus because when i refreshed my computer, it said "virus warning"! and then it just shut down completly.Does anyone know the fix for this sort of problem i'm experiencing. If so please contact me by email, or message me.

    P.S.: my email is sailmanwei@gmail.com

I guess he can be hacked now, heh Admiral??  sailmanwei@gmail.com                Personally, I won't touch that E-mail. Why?    YOU MAY GET A VIRUS.         @ Don Arrakis09;  If you can remove his virus from your location, Dam, Your Good.

I can not remove the virus from your computer without you running a program I  have which would allow me to take full control of your computer, including reboots!  But I do not want that responsibility.

Post the following information and I will send you an email on how to clean it:

    1) OS (windows version, IP, other)

    2 (curent anti-virus program

    3) current anti-spyware program

    4) current means of connection and speed (wireless?)

    5) How much RAM memory?

    6) Tell me if you have a flash drive in your computer and also the type of printer.

Post this information and meanwhile I will log into the IP address that "fad2191" is using and interrogate his/her computer!

I`ve had continual lagging problems to the point where so much time is lost on my clock(even when it`s the opponents turn to move) that it is not even worthwhile continuing with the game. Fortunately I`ve had some rather decent opponents who have agreed to the games being drawn. But, yes, it does make for an unpleasant gaming experiencePlease be relevant, helpful & nice!

If you are using a cheap IP then you need to upgrade. For example 30 Mbps provided using DSL is a very slow connection.

If you are using a wireless connection then draw a straight line between the transmitter and your computer. There can be NO METAL in that straight line!  In my case when I set up my high-speed wireless 150 Mbps I was shocked when the computer said I only had 30 Mbps.  A quick check showed that the signal (which travels in a straight line) was going through my washer & dryer. Moving the transmitter 5 feet over avoided these objects and I get between 120-150 Mbps every day.

In any case, close all other non-essential programs before logging in to play chess. AND VERY IMPORTANTLY: Download this Free program:

    http://superantispyware.com/

Install it and d/l the updates. Then run it and delete anything it finds. REBOOT and see how much faster your Internet is.
