I want to DELETE that old garbage! I don't want to archive a worthless old message!

ALSO - I notice that you no longer show the opponents ratings during a game! I want this fixed!!!

The delete option will be back with v3, it's only temporary :)  The archive is there so you can get at least get messages out of your inbox Smile

During the game I've just played, many times the screen view switched to other games without me doing nothing. Is this a bug or I may accidentally have modified some settings? Please fix this, when I'm playing I don't care at all about the other games!

    That's very strange itinerante.

I had a computer techie hack me one time and he was able to move my mouse around and open different files while I was playing.  I know who he is. His name is Gary Fletch** and he makes his living charging $75/hour to come out to your house. I don't think this guy is smart enough to write a hack to get thru my security, so I ran all my security programs and re-installed the mouse driver.

However, during the middle of a chess game he managed to walk right through all the security and started opening up every file on my desktop. As I said, the guy is not that smart so he is probably a member of a hacker site.

By the way, he has a scam going... he charges $75 for the 1st hour and then after running a virus scan he starts the process of running the 'Optimise disk' feature. Yeah, he was charging people over $400 !!! Yeah, lots of people have filed so many complaints against him that he keeps his flood lights on at night with two cameras running.

I am a programmer myself, but have not kept up with all the new Windows features so I can not advise anyone on those.

However! I can tell you an easy fix!

Remove the Microsoft mouse from the port and buy one for $10 bucks that runs from a different port. I bought one that is a laser mouse and requires different device drivers. Once I changed to a different mouse he was never able to hack me again!

Thank you Arrakis for your answer. It sounds very strange that an hacker bothers you while you are playing chess, but you never know. Indeed the guy you met was very malevolent. I have an IPod with touch screen, so I have no mouse.

Has anyone noticed the problem I reported today? (screen view suddenly switching to other's games)

I have 530+ messages I would like to delete at some point in the near future. Not archive, can we get this dealt with soon. It has been going on for a week now.

I don't cause trouble, and I've been around for a long time. I'm not being rude being blunt, I just would like to get rid of these messages.

I do not need reminding I don't pay, it is rather obvious when I look around the site. I have paid in the past and figured out it was a waste of money as I didn't use most of the features.

    Thank you for your concern.

Looking at the bile in the threads today, it should be buggers on Chess.com.

I agree. but I didn't know itinerante was using his iphone. I found this same problem and answered it months ago from an iphone user. STILL, I might be able to help all iphone users who experience this problem:

Go into your settings here and TURN OFF the selection for 'Premoves'. This helped the last person who experienced this problem.

Please let us know if this helps, itinerante.

Your a true Red Sox fan.   You have 500+ messages, and NOW you want to delete some??    Its the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs, your down 15-1, and NOW you want to get in the game ??

Thanks Arrakis09 for your kind help. Actually, I disabled the option "Watch automatically top game at start" and this seems to work as yesterday I was systematically brought to the "top game" about which I don't care at all. Disabling premoves is a good option anyway, sometimes they activate accidentally and make you lose!
