While I have not yet had the pleasure of playing the two, I assume, Gentleman you talked about. I did enjoy your writing as well as the in-site you provided into the mind of a chess player.Which I am learning can be a very dangous place to find oneself.

Easy for me to say this, since I speak English as a first language, but look at it like playing someone twice your rating.  Maybe you learn a few new moves/tactics, eh?  Read posts with twice your English vocabulary, and you'll learn some new cool words!

 

Regarding the post itself, I've heard of Mr. Bongcloud - sounds like a fun guy...maybe even a little funghi in him, too...who knows.  *rimshot*.  As for cheaters, self proclaimed or not, it doesn't bother me.  I can learn new moves from someone using a chess engine, too, and for me (maybe *just me*) Chess is not a game of person against person, it's person against him/herself.  I just want to get better, and I really don't care what happens to my rating in the interim. 

You people are starting to get boring

People love to dislike people and root for someone else.  It's the whole 'hero vs villian' deal.  If there is someone who says things to rub people the wrong way, and someone who always says something back . .  people eat it up.  As long as nothing gets really offensive, Erik has got to love these guys because it gets people involved.  You see one of them posting and are going to read it, just to see what is said.

To stay on-topic, there are ways to find out who has duplicate accounts or not. Or on other forums that I was on, there were people who were able to provide proof that someone had multiple accounts.

The multiple accounts comment had little to do with you. It was more of a general statement. I don't care if you cheat or not (multiple accounts = cheating?). But I do view you as one of the more pathetic chessplayers on here (wouldn't even finish your type of game). Please respond with another play on my handle about how-much-you-don't-care-about-me-but-still-respond-to-me (Deep down Lenny, I know you care about what I say)
