I want to give a five star recommendation to the Chess Mentor program.  I am a relatively new player who has consistently had problems with sacrifices and combinations.  The concepts were clear but I couldn't put them into actual game situations.  Thanks to Chess Mentor, for the first time, I am beginning to really understand the importance of opening up files, sacrifices, etc., and am actually beginning to put it all into practice.    The beauty of this program is that everything you need is right there.  No need to have a book, a chess set nearby, etc.  I don't expect miracles here..but I can feel the progress.  Not to mention the increase in confidence.   The support I have gotten from chess.com when I have a question about chess mentor has been their usual high standard.  At the very least try out the free lessons and see what I mean.  One more thing...the program offers many lessons that are appropriate for players regardless of ratings.

I used to use a previous version of this product, and I remember really liking it...  I know that if you've got the CD version, you can pick which 'module' or theme you want to work on.  Maybe I've missed something obvious, but how does that part of it work if you subscribe to it here?  Can you choose a module to train on, and are all of the modules available in the CD version available here too?  Thanks for any light anyone can shed.
