I haven't really thought this thing out, so it might be a stupid idea, but what about having a team functionality at chess.com.

 

Teams would have their own team ratings (glicko-esque) and teams could then challenge other teams, host a blog together etc.

 

 

I hope/think we will see Teams soon.......

This would be fun. It would be cool to have online chess clubs for people like myself that don't have much local action.
