I tried this one recently, and I loved it! Too bad that there are no online place to play this variant(that I know of). :(

Chess960 is just great, I often play it with my friends.

I'm glad to find another Seirawan Chess fan.  I've been playing s-chess with RobertABrown, who's also a fan of the variant, and what we've been doing is relaying s-chess moves using the chat window of an ongoing chess.com game.  It's not an ideal situation but it works.  Truth be told, it's rather enjoyable because it reminds me of postal chess, which I used to love playing until the internet killed it off (mostly).

If you have an s-chess set and are interested in playing let me know and we'll get a game going.

@Gonnosuke- OK I'll give it a try, though your rating is a "little" intimidating! ;)

The only two variants I think that are worth playing is Chess960 and another type of game that I play almost every day with my friends, but I don't know, how it's called in english, it's the one that you're playing in teams and you can put on the board whichever piece your teammate captures. Could someone tell me how i'ts called?

What you are playing is bughouse. It's 4 players at a time right?

Yeah it's Bughouse, while Crazyhouse is Bughouse for two players.

I'm playing chess960 (FisherRandom) so regulary, that I stoped thinking of it as a variant! Wink

Of course I doubt we'll see it happen, but I'd absolutely love it if there was a way to play shogi (japanese chess) here.

It would be interesting, however other chess sites like freechess.com and online chess and chessmaster support chess

Not that I think variants will be added to the site any time soon, but my vote would be for 960. Bughouse and Crazyhouse seem far too difficult to impliment and are much farther away from standard chess. 960 simply eliminates opening theory.
