Chess.com doesn't recognize Canadian NM title

A friend of mine had told me that chess.com gives free diamond upgrades for NMs.  I was all excited about getting my free upgrade, only to be told that only US NM titles are recognized.

Considering the the rating systems are pretty equivalent, and Canadian NM titles are even harder to get (you must stay above 2200 for 25 games), I'm surprised that chess.com doesn't recognize it.

Strange, considering chess.com recognizes the "CM" title for some people who don't even have that title when you look at the FIDE registers, i.e. Michelangelooo & streetfighter

let me look into this!

Diboss, please use http://www.chess.com/members/submit_title_proof.html to send in your titled player verification. Canadian National Master title is acceptable.

I emailed about it yesterday and the response I got was this (my name redacted):

Hello XXXX. As a US based website unfortunately we only recognize the USCF National Master title. Thank you for your understanding.

Just have question, did Chess.com award National Candidate masters?

No, the site does not award titles. It recognizes those gained through over-the-board regular rated play from national federations (for NM) or from FIDR.

Yeah but national candidates master is awarded by national federations
