This happens in Chrome - not sure if it affects other browsers.

When I use my chess.com email if I click on a URL the new site opens in the original window/tab but without a back button (the email site doesn't have a back button - as you'd probably expect).  I can find no way to get back to my mail account without closing the window & reopening email from chess.com.

Anyone else have this problem?

Ignore me - not a problem.  Right click New tab or window works fine ...
