Adding features/functionality to Mobile Chess.  The following are listed in descending order of 'wishes': (1) Allow user to review games in progress; not just games that are pending; (2) Play against a chess engine with varying levels of difficulty; and (3) access to daily puzzle, tactics trainer, and other areas of the site.

I think cell phones will be 'vital' for future (~5 years out) success of chess.com

Adding a game explorer tab next to every game!

Combining the actual game, the analysis board, and conditional moves into one very clever and inovative combined board.

I would like a note that pops up every time i click the submit move button that says: "Have you checked to make sure that this move is not a blunder?" :-P

Agree with the vote chess list that was already suggested.

Add a new time control for onlie chess, 10moves/day or "20moves/2days" in which each player must make that number of moves in that time or loses. I like to play faster games on online chess, so that they take only a couple days, and this time control would help me find others that would do the same.

I tell you what I'd like to see, every group has a note page, I wish there was a way to delete messages by the page instead of one at a time, which is time comsuming.   It would help free up some space on the old server and these note pages wouldn't get so long........

Ha!  You think that takes a while?  Try doing it for forums.  I became an admin for a group that had 55 pages of forum topics.  Takes longer to delete them than notes but I finally got it down to one page.  I wish there was an option to delete forum pages too.

A chat room… This is a feature Chess.com needs. Moderated, of course. :)

I am looking forward to the improvements in live chess.  That will be very cool.  I would also like to see live coverage of certain events (like the Topalov-Anand match to come).  Thanks for all you guys do on the site

Could we have the "quote" feature available in published comments in Vote chess games, as it is in these forums?

Currently, that feature is not available in Vote chess.  Often, lower rated players make comments that we would like to address directly to them without having to retype their comments.  Being able to easily do this by quoting not only helps the lower rated but all others who read the reply.

There are three features I'd like to see that would substantially improve my satisfaction, and neither of them are already on your list:

1. Provide sort options for games list. Currently it's sorted by time remaining, only. But I often want to sort by some of the other columns, such as rating, or moves completed, or title.

2. In the game archive, mark the games with a little clock icon if they were won or lost on time. Also, in the detailed stats analysis page, we should be able to see the percentage won by checkmate, resignation, and time. This is important, because some players (such as Aniko) have inflated ratings based on the fact that they win a lot of games on time. Correspondingly, a player can look really bad on paper until I notice that he lost 10 games in a row on time... then that "1150" level player who is really a 1750 player suckers me into playing him and steals my precious ratings points.

3. The email alerts are frustratingly uninformative. Can't you summarize the critical data in the alert? For instance, when a game is over, tell me I got checkmated, or that the other guy resigned, right there in the alert.

How hard would it be to implement multi-move time controls -- i.e. 10 moves in 30 days, to match up with standard CC time controls?

This would make it a lot more convenient to use the site for CC tournament games like USCF Electronic Knights.  It would also be a nice enhancement in its own right for those who prefer this type of time control.

FWIW, I'd just like to once again plug whoever's idea it was to have a way to annotate our games in progress (either for the public to read after the game or just for our private viewing).  I think this would be be a fantastic feature & set up chess.com apart from it's competition.  Perhaps only available to premeium members or for X number of games per month to save bandwidth.  There's one game I'm playing right now I'd love to annotate (but too much trouble to do it with wordpad, have tried before) especially since I don't always use the same computer to make my moves.  I'd also love to see my opponent's annotations "post-mortem".

In Live Chess 2.0, I would like to see the clock begin either: (a) as soon as White makes a move or (b) as soon as both players agree to the game.

I notice when I play d4 my opponents reply quickly but when I play b4/c4/f4/g4 my opponents take 1-2 minutes to consider their reply and chess.com doesn't run their clock! That's not fair to players (like me) who frequently play less common lines.

On the other common live chess sites they have to use their clock time.

I don't understand these requests for a way to annotate our games in progress.  We have the notes for that.  Isn't that what they are for?

No, notes are future references.  I could easily write 50 sentences of annotations.  I wouldn't want to have to wade thru all that just to check my notes.  Also, I don't think you can fill in THAT many notes.  IIRC, I overfilled it just in one game & three or four variations, forget about the whole game.

So, Narz, what exactly are you guys suggesting?  Some kind of universal file for all your games in progress?  I think you can do that in a separate MS Word file(s) if you want to.  Just have to organize them by game or opponent name and date.  It would be very easy to do if you have a good word processor.  Wordpad is an incomplete program and not really meant as a word processor.  It is just an MS teaser.  You don't need a new site feature for it.

If you don't have a word processor than I guess you would like and need that feature but it seems to me very few members would use it.
