Martin (baeuml) originally built Chess.com Notifier for Firefox.

I've ported his add-on to the Google Chrome browser, and uploaded it to the Chrome Webstore. Please use and comment/report in this forum. Thanks Smile

@AC: Thank you for using, reviewing, and commenting about this add-on at the Chrome Webstore. Please specify what function you would prefer when button is clicked. Smile

@leandro: Thanks for suggesting the use of the button badge to show the number of games waiting on the button icon. This may be part of a future version, but will probably require user login to chess.com before the number can be displayed.

@Ethan: Thank you clarifying the request by AC regarding multiple Chess.com tabs; a new version has been published which includes an "Allow Multiple Tabs" option; this should auto-update at your next Google Chrome restart Smile

There's a chess.com API call which will enable the notifier to display how many moves pending; but it requires the notifier to know both username and password ... how would people feel about putting chess.com password into google chrome extension?

It seems the extension is broken :(

I just tried to install it and Chrome came up with an error about a bad image path for /images/icon48_clr.png

@johnkershaw - thanks john; I'll have to look into the calling code for this; but that won't be until I have a free weekend (sorry)

@matt_soto - your code for calling the new homepage is a good idea, thanks. That should be easy to incorporate

I'll try to correct these ASAP, I just need some free time to develop and test, cheers :-)
