Hi everyone!

Just a quick suggestion:  It would be nice if we were able to choose whether our blogs were to be 'public' 'for friends only' or 'for our own eyes' ... This way we'd be able to use the nicely crafted blogging feature to document our games and tournament prep without all our competitors (a large number of people I compete with use chess.com!!!) having easy access.  I'm sure there are other benefits to having this option.

Just a thought,

-matt

Competitors knowing your strengths and weaknesses can only make you stronger, no?

Or at least more frustrated. Laughing

But what he is talking about is sharing opening prep with friends.  He doesn't want his traditional opponents to see his blogs, but he wants a select few to see his blogs so they can give him feedback.  That way he doesn't have to message them separately.  Is that right?

Interesting about that Save and Preview feature. I've written forum posts and then decided not to post them and just closed the browser tab. Months later I'll come back to that page and my post will be there still.

Freaks me out a bit. Laughing
