¿Cómo se dice pawn, rook, knight, etcétera, en español?
RomyGer
Have a look on the forum called "chess terms in all languages of the world" and especially posts numbers 1, 5, 15, 17 and 20. Un favor a alguien ! And please translate the word "perfil" in English for me...
Javis001
Hello RomyGer the english word for perfil is "profile"
Hi dragonair the spanish terminology for chess pieces are:
King :El rey
Queen :La reina/La dama
Bishop :El alfil
Knight :El caballo
Rook :La torre/El roque
Pawn :El peon
here is the link which contains few spanish chess terms
http://expochess.tripod.com/spanish.htm
Thanks!!!!!
de nada
En realidad roque no se utiliza. Torre sí... Y reina si se usa pero muy poco la mayoria decimos dama
Gracias por la corrección.
