CPU usage

    My CPU spikes to 90% after I see a game in some page. Like this for example http://www.chess.com/article/view/accelerated-dragon-maroczy-bind This does not happen when I go to chessgames.com. So why is this happening?

    Because game diagrams are quite heavy to load on this site. I suggest you to get the .pgn and import it to your favourite chess program, instead.

    Mine only goes up from 3% to 6%. You probably have an old CPU. (I have the Intel Core i7 920 @2.67 GHz, which is quad-core)
