I'm not going to mention any specific names, but the prolific spam-fest which is part of the daily puzzle has recently got out of hand. 
In any online forum, I would expect that someone who spams that much would have their comments deleted and receive a warning about spamming. There is plenty to keep watch for on the site and the staff do a brilliant job - maybe I am just being intolerant? 

Yes, "first 2nd 3rd etc" comments are spam, and can get you a warning. The comments should be removed, I would like the daily puzzle forum topic to be locked because of this spamming. there is another discussion  somewhere in the forums that was posted recently, still cannot find it.

That forum was modded at one point but now you practically have to throw a chair to get in any trouble now...

I don't read the comments there. Just do the puzzle and go do some other stuff. It's sad but that's how it's always been...

The More Puzzles section doesn't get any spam though and there's lots of good puzzles there with good analysis - most of the time....
