Ok, everyone likes to look at openings, but we all know we could win more games if we better understood the endgame.

 Or is it that the endgame is the only part of chess that has been figured out for hundreds of years and so...  It hurts the ego?Foot in mouth

I love endgame studies!

I saw someone post a puzzle on the Saavedra position. We should have more endgame puzzles on here.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I feel like there should be a whole section on the forum devoted to "chess endgames" just as there is one for chess openings.

Endgames are where its at....

there's nothing like offering your opponent a trade to simplify the endgame, having calculated ten-twenty moves ahead in which you know victory is sealed for you.
