I want to have facebook chess as well but when I opened the application it didn't seem to recognise me as the same user from my Chess.com membership. If I play on facebook, I'm not going to get in trouble for have 2 accounts am I? Should I not play on facebook?

i believe your facebook-chess and chess.com-chess is two seperate ways to play chess via chess.com. I dont think they interfere with each other. Winning a match on facebook will not affect your rating at this site.

Is there anybody here that can verify that playing on facebook chess and playing on chess.com will not get me in trouble? I want to show off my chess skills with my facebook friends and I'm sure that chess.com's chess app is the best one.

If you have an active facebook Chess.com account, just search for it here and see if you find yourself.

I use both, it won't be a problem. They are independent of each other. Your rating will be different on FB and you won't get in trouble for having the two accounts. (It is actually how I found Chess.com)

Has anyone on staff verified that it is not a problem to seemingly have a facebook account and a chess.com account? Or is there a way to link you current account to your facebook account and make them one and the same?
