living in colorado, go rockies, but childhood love resides in braves... keep revamping the pitching, even if it means giving up the franchises face. (Smoltzie)
GO TIGERS!!! GO TIGERS!!! GO TIGERS!!!
Sorrry, careless typing error. Yes, the pitcher.
He's definatly the pirates best starting pitcher, but that's not saying too much.
I am die hard braves fan, Smoltz was a tough loss emotionally but reality is he's done and needs to retire. i think next year is looking up and 2-3 years from now well be back in it.
Cincinnati Reds fan here...it's been almost 19 years since our last title...hopefully we will get things straight and make another run...hell, I'd be happy with making the playoffs
Wait 'til next year. Go Cubs. Let's play two.
And yes, Ron Santo should be in the hall of fame.
Unfortuanetly, Braves fans had gotten spoiled with over a decade of pennants. The Braves excelled in '91 into the next millenium through the staple of pitching. Every team knows that without a core of pitching, world series are not possible. Defense with average offense wins pennants, high offense without pitching doesn't make playoffs.
Smoltz is coming to the Red Sox as you know. I hope he is physically okay. He is getting older (42 in May) for pitching but Schilling did it for us. So we will hope the best for him.
Have any of you checked out the group we could use some more opinions on baseball.
Marlins!
Marlins are my second team
Yanks are the best!!!!!!
I appreciate all the talk on all the players. It will help me know all the players on all the teams while watching their games. Keep it coming.
