Plez make a 20 or 60 minute game for those that dont want to drag games on for months. Like the guy i am playing now comes on and makes 3 moves in almost 3 hours time and then logs back off till tomorrow. So I paused the game to make sure I dont get beat by Slow Poke Rodriguez and he says I tricked him.?!? Isnt that the same as calling a person a cheater? I do love and respect the game enough to play it fair and square and its good to get away from drama and play a good game, but some people make a mountain out of a mole hill and live for drama.

Its chess not rocket science...If a person sits down at the park to play a game then its not gona drag on over 1 day per game. IMO i think it would help peoples skills more by playing faster games and if they dont wana play fast then take the option to play to the end of time for all i care. But atleast make an option. Please...

IDK maybe its just me that likes to sit down and play a game and have some closure before the cows come home.

They are in the beta stage of testing live chess on this site:

http://www.chess.com/play/live.html

Go play a few games there and give them feedback.

the live chess games dont effect your ratings yet do they?

it wouldnt be a bad idea to make a shorter turn-based chess game. I love the 1 day and 3 day games as you can play alot of games at once but shorter ones would be great as well. No complaints though, this site is great and when live chess is up fully it will be the best. :)

Honestly man, because i am a better player with white. Its my own personal demise that i have never read books or took advice on chess and the majority of games i have taught myself on were with white.

I know, it is a weakness in my game , but its not one that cant be fixed. Just a mater of how and when.Undecided

Perhaps instead of reading MCO-14, maybe you should try DSM IV...
