He only pay a money for account. The owner of paid account is determined my email. The same way he can pay for dozen of members without any problems. We can stand in a queue ;))

I think that you should not use his card number - it is illegal. He has to pay himself and point to your account (by your email registered in chess.com membership) in payment information.

Send me some pics - if they're good enough, I'll pay for the account!    (just having fun - no one have a hissy)

If you embarrassed to send him your pics then send him a picture of your boyfriend's card - then dvaud will pay for your account all the same - It will be more fun and dvaud will not be in trouble ;)

 you can use his card with his name and your email address. that is fine. they are not related. it is NOT illegal to use someone else's credit card if they give you permission. :)

In pragmatic terms it's not illegal if you don't ask, if he woulda said yes if you did ask, and (this is the important part) if he doesn't look at his credit card statements anyway. 

My wife and my daughter use this rule on me all the time, and I on my wife.  It works out fine, except my wife actually looks at the credit card statements.  Bummer!
