How do I keep people from aborting the online game?

I like to practice specific chess openings, so I use preset positions. However, it's as if some people are incapable of reading the title of the game in which I specifically list the opening, and they keep aborting it.

Is there a feature where I can prevent online game aborts or at least be notified?

A lot of people are doing it, the only reason is they are not punished. If you abort the game, it should be a loss.

Wrong. One should be able to select ones opponents If the system selects a weak one if rather abort than waste 20 min in a boring non challenging game

If you started or joined some thematic tournaments you might avoid this problem. Smile

If Chess.com did that some players would jump at the chance to lower their rating and sandbag their opponents! Laughing

1.You can set rating requirements.

2. The system never selects games with preset positions.

This whole comment is nonsense.

I don't think there's a huge difference between aborting and waiting your opponent to make a move and then resigning.

Thematic tournaments don't occur that often. Plus I'm not going to just wait for one to occur that involves the openings I want to practice.
