 It's not a stalemate, it just took over 50 moves, therefore a draw.

How many knights can you place on a regular chessboard so that no knights can capture any of the other knights?

64 because all the knight is white and piece of a same colour cant be captured.

32, but do you know why? 

Because knights always jump to the opposite-coloured square so you can fill all squares of one colour with knights....

Bugs111: Colour is irrelevant in the problem. Any knight can capture any knight.
