You can join as many GROUPS as you wish. If two of those GROUPS play again each other in a TEAM match or a VOTE chess match, you won't be able to join either TEAM for that match.

You're going to want that missing "e", and even then, I'd also recommend some wine.

The two games where you timed out had a speed of 3 days per move. In order to play at that rate, you must be able to login to chess.com at least every three days, look at your games list and make moves where you have to. 

If you don't intend to login that frequently, you should select slower-running games e.g. 5, 7, 10 or 14 days per move.

It's a good idea to use the settings to get an email notification when it's your move. (Click on HOME -> Account -> Manage your online chess settings. Make sure these Game Alert Preferences are set ...

• Play a sound when it's my move
• Alert me when I am running out of time, or I receive a challenge
• Alert me when it's my move

Click on Save Settings.

Click on HOME -> Account -> Manage your alert & email settings. Make sure ALL Alerts are set.

Plus, tick Also send alerts to my ... email address.
