Improvements on E-mail chess

Post any Improvements you think are worth-while to the wonderful new feature of e-mail chess.

    1. I know this will be even more work for the designers, however I think there should be a time limit on accepting the "open seeks" feature.  I would rather not see ' noob's ' game request for a player with a < 1 rating for the rest of my time here at chess.com.

    2. I also think that any games below 3 or 4 moves should be discarded due to buffering of some people's ratings (including mine).  My rating makes me look like a better chess player than I really am because of all the time-outs that happen.

when reviewing your archived games, i'd like to be able to view move by move... i know that i can do that on my own... but one quick link would be cool... unless that already exists in which case i'm dumb and please point me in the right direction

I agree with LeviAJones, I would like to be able to review my games on chess.com without entering them into another program or playing them by hand.

You can now click&click OR drag&drop to make a move.

Also vacation option should be handy :).

It is already available. Look into e-mail chess settings.

Just to add support to the idea of being able to play through prior games - that would be an excellent facility.

Indeed looking upon my past games would be a nice feature without having to download the file.

    thanks everyone!

    vacations are LIVE!

and, we also fixed it so that games under 4 moves do NOT count toward your rating.

getting rid of stupid seeks is a GREAT idea. maybe they will expire after 7 days (or maybe we just don't allow for stupid seeks?)

finally, a PGN/game reviewer is in the works!

    thank you all!

Yeah I definitely think seeks should timeout after a week or so (and "stupid" seeks shouldn't be allowed). This should also include not only seeks, but challenges you receive from other players. I don't have time to play every single game that I get challenged to play, and sometimes I just hit "ignore all" on the alerts popup. Well, this has resulted in a huge amount of current challenges in my list, and I think these should just time out eventually.

I've noticed a few times when I click on the "Players" link to see a list of the strongest players  that some are missing.  For instance - I have just sorted by rating and instantly notice that Yelenadembo and Bill Wall are missing from the list.

Does anyone know why this happens?

I like the changes that everyone is suggesting and the changes that have been made to make e-mail chess great.

we changed the issue where if you are unavailable then you dont appear on the list - that has been fixed :)

When sorting through my old games I would like to be able to view them also by number of moves.  Though I do not have too many games to go through, I think that would be helpful in the future or just maybe a fun fact to look at.
