In Place Sight

so i've never watched this USA network drama series, but my wife saw it last night and one of the characters was playing computer chess--on chess.com.  at least my wife swears it was the chess.com interface.  anybody else see this?

It did not, but I'll keep an eye out! Maybe there's a preview of it on YouTube.

I wonder if it's possible the show could get in trouble for using chess.com without permission?

i'm not even sure it was chess.com.  my wife thought it was, but she's never seen chess.com up close, just over my shoulder.  i'd be interested in finding out if it even was chess.com...

i suspect erik will find out shortly.

it was right at the end. it was just a fake-looking chess program. nothing like chess.com, more like FICS. but definitely hollywooded and fake.

decent show. :)

Can anyone reconstruct the position Marshall has on his screen?

I noticed too that the board itself looks alot like chess.com with standard pieces and the brown theme.

Who knows, they may have taken a screen capture from chess.com and cropped out everything except the actual board.
