Hello everybody.I am in a big trouble since i am unable to play chess on this site  due to the following----Correspondence chess board downloads to my PC without pieces. I have already reported the problem to the Chess.com Support . I got a message from them that this problem will be fixed as soon as possible. But if they fail to do so, I can really lose on time all of my games. Does anyone know what  should I do? PLEASE,HELP!!!

    1. Which browser (and which version) are you using? Try alternative browsers (e.g. IE7, IE8, Chrome, Firefox, Safari). Is the result exactly the same for all of them?

    2. Try refreshing the page (F5).

    3. This type of problem often seems to be fixed by clearing your browser's cache. (Control R, or Tools, Options, Clear cache, or ... - depending upon which browser you are using).

    4. Are you experiencing a similar problem (i.e. incomplete display) on any other website?

    5. When did this problem first occur? (What has changed on your PC?)

    6. Can you put yourself on vacation until the problem is fixed? (It must NOT be your move on any game.)

Thank you, artfizz for your response and suggestions. The problem is solved by alternative browser--IE(I do not know which version) I  got the message from Chess.com Support to clear  my MOZILLA FIREFOX s  cache. I am not experiencing a similar problem on www.chesshere.com.This problem first occured when I changed the IE for  the above mentioned mozilla firefox.

I had that a few days ago.  I had to allow chesscomfiles.com in my NoScript plugin.  I suspect chess.com changed things to have two domains serving the site, making it faster.  As a result, anyone with NoScript or other script blockers would have to allow another domain to have the site work correctly.
