Just read the staff message announcing the deleting of old messages in the inbox of Chess.com. I understand the reasons & am all for it; the only thing you don't mention in the message is when this is going to happen so we know how long we've got to save those we'd like to. Could someone from staff answer this?

Is there going to be a way we can export our messages to our local machines?

sorry - no export option planned right now. i recommend account upgrade or copy paste to a .txt file for now. again, it's all about resources :( i think people would prefer we improve live chess more than create a message export tool? plus - you're silver - you're covered for a year and you've only been a member since April :) maybe by then we'll have an export tool?
