We just released a new turn-based chess feature. Who can find it first???  :)  I will give 3 hours of free Chess Mentor time to whoever posts here first correctly. (It's nothing major, but has been asked for quite a bit in the past.)

You aren't harrassed by move notifications in tournament games anymore... I don't think anyways... Just kinda guessing, I haven't had any moves made recently.

it's now called "turn-based chess" under PLAY .

The little game preview window when you pass the mouse over it in "my online chess"

What is the FEN anyway?

None of these are right so far. All of these have existed for quite some time already. :)

OK, how about the board pop-up of the final position when you hover the mouse over "view" for Recent Games (rather than Current Games)? Not all of mine work, so it looks like a recent releaseSmile

No, the fen board popups were released about a week or more ago. Another 1/2 hour or so and I'll start giving away hints.

How about a built-in engine that helps you win your games? Oh, dam, you haven't implemented that yet Undecided Tongue out

You have so many new features every week that it's hard to keep up with everything. Some guesses:

- Tournament links (pairings, standings etc.)

- As mentioned before, FEN & Game Preview

- More stats on Stats page (including tournament stats)

- A small box on the right to quickly start a new game

the board preview when mouse-over and the little red star on the notes tab is fairly new, I would also say that the tournaments tab in the right hand column is new...WHAT ABOUT THE RSS FEED FEATURE???? AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER?..Surprised..or is the fact that the layout boxes have been better resized to fit standard 17 screens? (now we can see the right-side layout boxes better)...

you know what would be a great idea? When your playing a game, whenever the position in the game fits exactly a classical "known-position" or varitation, that it would show up on the right hand side....some of us new to chess are playing classical positions without recognizing it.....
