I dont know if a lot of people here has the same experience. There is no draw by repetition, slow reactive time and there's a lot of disconnection happening....

    Any news on some improvements...?

Myself I just play more online chess.  We have unreliable internet service in our local area and one feels better blaming yourself for mistakes than uncontrollable circumstance.

There is draw by repetition and by 50 move rules.  But like in a real game you have to claim the draw, it's not an automatic draw.  Some grandmasters have repeated a position 10 times before continuing the game.

Anyway on the 3rd repetition hit the draw button and it will end in a draw right away.

Thanks for the info. Can we set it up to go auto? Because clicking the button while at play takes up time you know...

I think that's a matter of your Internet connection quality (I'm talking about disconnections).

I signed up for an annual membership, and discovered it's not my thing, so I guess I'll spend the rest of it trying to figure out what you chess heads get out of it. Besides, I still do tactics now, and then.

Improvements where? Do you know how good your own internet connection is?

Go to both links below & find out before you automatically assume the problem with disconnecting is at this end

    http://www.speedtest.net/

    http://www.pingtest.net/

I tried playing at http://www.seriouschess.com. It is faster but maybe only because its much fewer players over there..

Yeah have to admit that on wireless broadband the connection is not as quick as LAN connection. Still, www.playchess.com Chess UI is a lot faster than chess.com. Try it to know what I mean..
