What are the three different ratings for exactly?

The ratings are for the different time controls.

I believe blitz is the quickest game, then quick and long is the longest (go figure).

Blitz is 5min or less, quick is under 15min and long is over 15min.

Actually, Quick is any game below the three-minute mark. Blitz is from three minutes to ten minutes long, and Long is any game longer than ten minutes.

These are all rough estimates, mind you, but I think I'm pretty close.

I dont think that is right because I never play under three minutes but stil have a rating for all three types and the live chess glitches up on me and I usually lose lol, even against some of teh weakest players in there

Jon Beale, your 1200 quick rating is a default rating.

And I think Master Forfeit has it right

Actually the rating categories for the Live Chess are as follows:

Quick rating - For games less than 3 minutes

Blitz rating - For games of 3 minutes to 14 minutes

Long rating - For games 15+ minutes

Upon your first time logging into the Live Chess all three of these ratings will start at a default of 1200.

I have copy/pasted the moves in a live chess game to a text file. Not really the same thing as saving, but it works.

it would be handy if I could simply click on a table of archived games and bring up the one I want in an analysis board, no?
