I just recently updated my phone Chess.com app and noticed the live game has a submit button. How about adding the same option for computer based live games.
Also, on the phone app, I think a "other" option for ratings would be good. It would be nice to input my own number there!
i think its cos phones are easy to make mistakes when moving so you can rethink i once too on the computer let go of a queen too early causin it to die me resigned. tho yeah it needs it
So easy to make mistakes on the phone...!!!!
not too hard on the computer either!
If only for the sake of standardization or uniformity purposes the applications should be the same on every medium and should be placed at the same location.
It reduces the chance of errors, speeds up the process, not trying to remember and find the location of the submit or other button type.
In other words it makes it a lot easier for everyone.
The draw back is that if it is not planned from the start on every application it will require more programming to move things around to put the button in the same place on all applications.
more than 20 words! ill just cancel this out
wait a minute....................
omg wrong topic sorry bye!
this was the wrong topic lol :P
There should be an opton to add submit button on live game for us idoits..
I can't play on the computer any more, phone is not as comfortable, but it has a Submit button
^ What he said
phones should have custom time & inc. Also there should be a take back option for adults, I've made the same mistakes most ppl have with mouse or finger, I've benefited from others mistakes but would be happy to take back if it was obvious, like a square short of intended - you can tell when this has happened a lot of the time.
Chess.com should add submit button in computer as an option because some players accidentally make wrong moves.
Anyway, it is just an option, a player may or may not use it.
Why don't people just use caution when playing on a computer? I have lost many games because the submit button was dragging my time, which is aggravating if you have a queen vs. a king and a pawn.
It is accident..so even when ur cautious it happens sometimes... Anyway, it is just an option..u may or may not use it
I really would like a submit button. I would turn it on for long games, and off for blitz games. Given that most of my live games are 45 | 45 there will time on every move to hit submit.
Is there a feature request process for chess.com? I haven't found it yet.
