Have you already noticed that many times you are playing games and when your opponents have an important piece or position loss they just disappear from the game. What is this for ? Fear of loosing a game ? Attempt to get a win thru time-out ? Penalization because you are winning ?

Is there any possible way to incentive all players to prevent or stop doing this ?

Well, I am not complaining, neither becoming un-cool, what sometimes happens is a behavior that anyone should not be proud of.

My quick thought is a ranking of fair players, this ranking could be based on a quantity of "fair trophies" conquered. I don't know if this is a good idea, just wondering....

erik posted some 'trophies' we can award/reward players for good behavior in games.        but a player can delete any trophy they receive.  so ..... there would be little point to a 'poor sport' trophy, because they can delete that quickly.

maybe just read the other posts (lot of them) about misuse of vacation time, and move on, as the other player suggested.   besides, if you keep talking about it, it starts to sound like "whining" and nobody likes a whiner.  [not calling you that.]

regards,

setting a 24 hour limit could end this

move or loose

i think the idea is the other player will forget where he's at and make a mistake

i'm open -- come get me
