Many tips on ches.com its to help you! i will make a list of tips i know. Send our tips too,making many tips to starters

  1. if you are on quick tournaments and you will no touch your computer by one week, go on vacation.
  2. read articles, forums and blogs. This will help you on games.
  3. you can post videos, or things do many people know
  4. use other colors!
  5. study with profissionals and make unrated games, he help you to think.
  6. be cool, people not like you if you is angry all day.
  7. your image can't be much violent, people will think you is so many angry.
  8. show your games to other people think after or before the chekmate,the draw or the resignation!
  9. do not use inapropriate language. If any people catch you...
  10. On live chess, report chess bugs. This will help you
  11. don't this fast(only if you have an obvious move to play).
  12. join groups and study on chess mentor or tatics trainer
  13. don't resign so much easy.
  14. use emoticons to express what you think.Laughing
  15. and last:vote on people you find cool on that category, not ever who is in first!

You forgot:

Don't forgot to check your engine to calculate the biggest blunder-move on the board. This will improve your game.
