Hey all! Over the last few days we have introduced a bunch of new features!

    Better Blog Tools
You now have tons more control over your blog! Choose the title, add a statement, create custom HTML blocks, and select your own URL!

    Classifieds
Everyone can now sell stuff, post jobs, find friends with classifieds on Chess.com! Sell chess books you have already read or... who knows. Post what you want!

    Email Chess Tools
We have (hopefully!) improved the email chess so that you can play more live-like games. You can tell when your opponents are online and the board automatically refreshes when it is your turn!

    Photo Gallery
Check out the pictres posted by other chess.com members!

    Facebook Chess
If you have an account on Facebook, you can play chess with your friends from inside facebook! While we didn't build the tool (and it isn't quite as good as email chess here), we are working with the developer to improve it!

In addition, there are a TON of new features we are working on! Thanks for your support! Let us know if you have suggestions or feedback...

i know that right now you can search by country, but will there be anyway to narrow it down even further and do a search for members by state, city etc. or maybe even by distance from my current location?

p.s. thanks for the great site!

Yeah, thanks for the new features guys. Email chess is great.

I'd also like to say that I would like to see more searching features similar to what Levi mentioned.

I wish there were a way I could change my alias.  I would like to change the casing on my name and take off the number, without causing a hassle or making a whole new profile.  I didn't think I would use chess.com as much as I have.  I enjoy this site and appreciate all of the work that was put into this site.

I really like the autorefresh when it's your move. The other additions are also great. Good job, guys!

What are sidebar blocks and/or custom html blocks??

Batgirl...when you go to someones blog page, for example, your own located at http://blog.chess.com/batgirl you will see blocks on the right that include some info about you, a search block, most recent and most read blocks. You can change the order of these, remove them, or add your own by going to http://www.chess.com/home/edit_blog_settings.html
