    May I just point out that the 'Newest Groups' info is rather redundant and in any case rather useless without showing the year formed.

    don't need it, is not that really important is it, if you made a mistake just delete it  and repost it with the correction.

    i just can't get used to it

    why not ? what do you find it so hard about it ? I didn't like it for a few days myself and by then I am ok with it.

    I have around 10 '' issues or problems '' that are causing difficulty with the site-redesign. I only consider one of those to be urgent & plan to submit the rest for reply via help/support ticket when things are less busy.
