They are all members of the ruling elite, those guys get the real Internet.
North Korean Players
I played someone claiming to be from North Korea too.(And won even though he was almost 100 higher than me!)
They only have a youLeader site there, with some vids of the leader, and a wikileader with facts about him (like he sweats Coca-Cola for example).

Vids of the Great Leader? That sounds AWESOME! Where can I find them?

Did he time out? Because he may have been executed or dead from hunger.
I checked the members' list by country , there seem to be hundreds of members from North Korea. Strange! Could it be that some people tell lies , claiming to be from DPRK?

I don't think so. Why would people lie on the internet?
But we are told that North Koreans have no access to the internet... All these people are members of the elite?

Or maybe our governments are lying to us, and North Korea is actually paradise on earth?

Probably.
I played someone from North Korea and he was one move 'till checkmate but he woudn't play the last move until time went down.
Quick question regarding the flag thumbnail that represents a player's location. Is it based on IP address or is it entirely up to the location the player specifies? I figure it's the latter since practically nobody in the DPRK is allowed to access the real internet ( they have a country-wide intranet that I'm aware of but figure chess.com would not be on their approved list ).
