I was on a different site the other day and their forums were much cleaner than here of useless topics that get asked every few days.

For example:

Should you resign, bishop or knight, i found a cheater, can I use fritz when I play online, etc.

When these types of topics where entered in the subject of a new thread, the site displayed links of all similar past forums, which the user should then click on. If they just click, it opens the new page right on top so their forum post is gone, and it takes a little while to make a new one, or, if they are smart, they can open the post in a new tab and save their work. Its a clever little way of informing people and I wish that it would be implemented here.

Eric, or whoever designs the site, thanks for taking this into consideration, if you need me to explain more carefully, just pm me.

I very much agree and forcefully urge you to contact those responsible immediately in order to save this great site that at the end belongs to the USERS.

They read the forums. Also, I think this site is for the users, but I believe that there is too little material of actual importance that is discussed iin he forums.

You know... I recall someone posting a thread about this just a few days back. Tongue out
