Once upon a time when chess.com was very young, points could actually be traded in for a Tshirt. That day is long past; today they are worthwhile only for judging how active someone is on the site.

I have 1383 member points and 53 tournament points.
I don't see the points seperated between tournament points and the other ones...where can I see that?
You get to tournament points by going to the play tab and clicking on the tournament box. There is an area where it tells you where how many tournaments you have played in and how many you won, and how many leaderboard points you have.
What are these points I have accumulated used for, and how did I get them. I know that some came from tournaments. Can they be used for anything? Is it to measure how much of a nerd one is? Somebody give me an answer please. I wish to trade my points in for beer if that is an option. Thanks.
